Première Côtes de Blaye


Situation: Located on the Right Bank of the river Gironde, on the hillside facing the Gironde in the heart of the 1ère Côtes of Blaye.


Soil composition: 100% Merlot


Vinification: Traditional fermenting takes place in stainless steel tanks, the temperatures are controlled manually and there is a long vatting time, maceration takes place at constant temperature.aged 12 months in oak barrels.


Tasting: There is a nice garnet red colour with a dense smell of jam and red fruits. It is a very full wine, with a huge amount of substance which is fleshy and long. In short an excellent wine.


Drinking suggestions: To obtain the best from this wine decant two hours before serving. Drink with red meats, game and soft cheese.
