Château Peyredoulle - Premières Côtes de Blaye
Situation: Located on the right side of the Gironde
Grape Variety: Merlot 80%, Cabernet Sauvignon 20%
Soil composition: Its perfectly drained clay-limestone soil benefits from magnificient exposure
Vinification: The fully matured grape undergoes 6 weeks of fermentation in vats. It is then matured, still in stainless steel vats, for 8 to 9 months depending on the vintage.
Tasting: Elegant, with an excellent tannic support which marries well with its structure, this wine made from the property's young vines expresses its fruit particulary well due to maturing in vats. Fine wine with beautiful length on the palate making it the ideal companion for a lively meal.
Drinking suggestions: A true wine, especially for steak, duck fillets, traditional cuisine and cheese.
